If you have a strong background in creating your own pieces of art in your chosen medium, along with a history of displaying your work at Art Shows and/or proven sales, please consider gifting/donating one of your pieces to the upcoming YMCA of Owen Sound Grey Bruce Appreciation Art Draw, which will be held Friday, October 7th through Friday, December 16th, 2022.
As a well-established not-for-profit charity, we depend on Owen Sound Grey Bruce residents to assist us in providing wonderful and diverse services and programs.
2022 marks the 145th Anniversary of the YMCA of Owen Sound Grey Bruce, as well as the Anniversary of 10 years on 10th Street East in Owen Sound for our Health, Fitness and Aquatics Centre.
As some of you may know from being members at our YMCA, we work together to build strong kids, strong families, and strong communities. To do this we offer opportunities for personal development in many program areas: Health, Fitness, Aquatics and Recreation, Child Care, Community and Justice Programs, Settlement Services, Housing Support and Employment Services.
With a commitment to nurturing the potential for children, adults, and seniors, promoting healthy living, and fostering social responsibility, our YMCA ensures that every individual has access to essentials needed to learn, grow, and thrive.
As we are in the early stages of getting this new and exciting YMCA of Owen Sound Grey Bruce Appreciation ART Draw 2022 underway, we invite you to consider being an important part of this new initiative.

Please send a picture of your chosen artwork, and a brief bio of yourself. We will use this information to highlight your generous contribution to the ART Draw on promotional assets which will be shared in our newsletter and on our social media channels (LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram and Twitter).
People wishing a chance to have their name chosen in our draw to receive one of the beautiful pieces of donated art will be able to purchase their YMCA of Owen Sound Grey Bruce Appreciation ART Draw Ticket(s) online starting Friday, October 7th, commencing Wednesday, December 14th, 2022. Watch for links on our website, social media pages and in person at the YMCA Health, Fitness and Aquatics Centre. Other YMCA locations are being considered, stay tuned.
Tickets will be $25.00 each or five for $100.00.
Starting at 11:00am on Friday December 16th, 2022 the winning tickets will be drawn by a representative of the YMCA of Owen Sound Grey Bruce. Winners will be notified as soon as possible via email, so each winner may choose their preferred piece of art (in order of winning tickets being drawn).
With your help, this wonderful YMCA of Owen Sound Grey Bruce Appreciation ART Draw 2022 will allow us to say thank you to everyone who has been touched in some way by the YMCA, but will also help highlight our many programs and services. As well, the YMCA of Owen Sound Grey Bruce Appreciation ART Draw 2022 is designed to help share and promote the work of talented artists who live and create in this beautiful part of the world.
